Just a Little Color

The weather has been absolutely miserable here lately - rainy and cold.  So I thought I would step waaaaay outside of my box and play with some color.  Since I usually stay with the more muted colors, I consulted an expert - my nine year old daughter who loved this color combo - so I knew I was on the right track.

To make the flower, I used PTI's Beautiful Blooms II #1 die to cut some Raspberry Fizz felt and then stitched it together with a Hawaiin Shore button.  Not bad for someone who can't sew.

I used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the background and an EK Success punch for the border.

I hope this card adds a little color and brightens your day.
