Birthday Girl

CTMH-Cherished Flourishes

Last week was my daughter's 9th birthday.  Although she considers herself to be somewhat of a tomboy, she also loves things that sparkle so this is the card I made for her this year.  I got the pattern from the CTMH book Originals and it's called Oval Solitaire.  The die is from PTI but the paper and stamp set (Cherished Flourishes) is CTMH.  I had the paper flowers and adhesive gems in my stash.

This is a picture of the ice cream cake I made for her.  She picked the flavors (cookies and cream, butterfinger and strawberry) which much to my surprise, tasted pretty good together.  She had her BFF sleep over the night before and then I took them for manicures, a movie (Despicable Me - too cure) and then to Build-a-Bear.  She had a smile on her face the hold day.

  1. Hi there GF,
Love the card, but the cake looks oh so YUMMO! How'd you make it?
Did DD have just the right amount of bling, but not too much fru fru on her card? Sounds like a fun day. Did you get the manicure too or just go along for the money of it?
    Hope your week is wonderful
