A Wallet for Jim
My girlfriend's husband turns the big 40 this year and we all know how hard it is to shop for guys. Soooo....this is what I came up with. A "leather" wallet which will eventually hold a gift certificate to one of his favorite restaurants and a WAWA gift card. His wife is putting together an awesome scrapbook and I feel honored that this little creation will be included.
The wallet uses Close to My Heart's Chocolate and Bamboo cardstock, It's Your Day stamp set and Chocolate ink. I used Vintage Photo and Antique Linen Distress Inks from Ranger and Modge Podge Gloss-Lustre to achieve the leather look. Look for the tutorial on how to make your cardstock look like leather tomorrow. (HERE)
That really is very clever.
