Embossing Class

I held an embossing class with a wonderful group of ladies. Two of the projects are shown below. One of the cards (not shown) is a gift card using next month's Stamp of the Month, Tender Tags, which I will post on June 1 for the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. It will make a perfect teacher or graduation gift so check back. I will post the 3-D project we did this weekend.

This For You card is an example of using a sponging tool to "pop out" a clear embossed image. We stamped the flower onto Colonial White cardstock and then shaded around the flower using Taffy and Sorbet ink.

CTMH Supplies:
Versamark
Cardstock - Colonial White, Cranberry
Stamp Sets - Delight in Everything, Say it in Style
Clear embossing powder

Other:
red crystal
10” Sorbet ribbon

The Aspiration card is an asian themed card on which they embossed the flowers with Red Dragon EP and the sentiment in Black EP. I used nestabilities dies to pre-cut the ovals.

CTMH Product:
Cardstock - Black, Cranberry, Colonial White

Stamp Sets - Aspiration, For Every Occasion
Ink - Black
Versamark

Other Supplies:
Red Dragon EP

Black EP
6” ribbon
Nestabilities Oval dies

  1. Both cards are beautiful. I really like using that embossing technique. I used it with the large butterfly from the Butterfly Wings stamp set and was very pleased with the affect.
